Decorating the house, trick or treating with the kids, a costume party with friends—there’s always plenty to look forward to around Halloween, everyone’s favorite spooky holiday. But the Dance Department at the College of Southern Idaho steps things up a notch in late October by offering an incredible CSI performance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller“.
Don’t miss CSI’s annual tribute to this ghastly classic at the Fine Arts Auditorium on October 26th at 4:30 pm. Director Julie Wright-Leggett will lead a group of students fully outfitted in zombie costumes as they pay tribute to Jackson’s one-of-a-kind choreography.
Admission is free of charge, so bring the whole family to get into the Halloween spirit like never before. The program will also feature additional jazz and contemporary dance performances, so there’s sure to be something for everyone.
In preparation for the headlining event, CSI students have been studying dance legend Bob Fosse, believed to be Michael Jackson’s inspiration as he choreographed his ground-breaking “Thriller” video.
Be sure to hang around after the curtain closes on Thriller as there will be an opportunity for kids to collect Halloween candy and get pictures with all of the zombies who performed during the evening.
